Last year I was approached by Design House, a design agency based in Oslo, who were commissioning illustrations for new products Tine, a dairy producer. They felt my illustration style would suit the concept well.
As always I produced several sketches of each food icon as I find it often saves time in the long run if they are given several options they can pick and choose from.
After they had chosen which of the sketches they felt had potential, it was taken to a rough colour art stage. Again I give them several options so they can see the different routes I’m considering. After feedback I worked on the chosen icon some more, adding details like shading and highlights. It was a wonderful project to work on and I really like how the illustrations look on the product.
Here's what one of the project leaders said...
'We wanted illustrations for this project to create a natural expression with lots of flavor. We found (ohn Mar's) work on Pinterest, and her illustration style suited the look and concept we wanted. We`re really pleased with the process and collaboration, and the final result.
